
Senior Pastor | Steven Coomer

The Coomer Family moved to Warsaw, KY in September 2017 to solidify their commitment to the GCC faith-family and the community of Warsaw. They are faithful supporters of the Gallatin County Schools and ardent fans of the Gallatin County Wildcats.
Steve is a 1986 graduate of Gallatin County High School, and a 2012 graduate of Cincinnati Christian University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies with a core content emphasis in Pastoral Ministry and Church Leadership. Pastor Steve is bi-vocational, serving as GCC’s Senior Pastor, and is also employed as the Youth Services Coordinator at Gallatin County's Middle and High School. He is presently working towards a Master’s Degree in Psychology with Life Coaching Certification at Grand Canyon University. Debbie Coomer is a 1983 graduate of Simon Kenton High School. She serves as the Women’s Pastor at GCC and is employed by US Bank as a multi-state project manager.
Steve and Debbie Coomer reside in Warsaw, KY. Their family has grown exponentially during their pastorate at GCC which includes, three sons: Kyle (Kyleigh) Coomer; Chase (Abby) Coomer; and Troy Coomer, along with 4 grandchildren: Noah, Isaac, Colson and Jackson. Add the family's five combined dogs: Ace, Charlie, Doc, Lucy, and Zac; and you have the makings of a full house on Sundays and holidays.
