Senior Pastor | Steven Coomer


Since its birth, GCC has grown in members, influence and personal commitments to Christ.  

The Coomer Family moved to Warsaw, KY in September 2017 to solidify their commitment to the GCC faith-family and the community of Warsaw.  They are faithful supporters of the Gallatin County Schools and ardent fans of the Gallatin County Wildcats.

Steve is a 1986 graduate of Gallatin County High School, and a 2012 graduate of Cincinnati Christian University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies with a core content emphasis in Pastoral Ministry and Church Leadership. Pastor Steve is bi-vocational, serving as GCC’s Senior Pastor, and is also employed at Gallatin County High School.  He is presently working towards a Master’s Degree in Special Education at Georgetown College.  

Debbie Coomer is a 1983 graduate of Simon Kenton High School.  She serves as the Women’s Pastor at GCC and is employed by US Bank as a multi-state project manager.

Steve and Debbie Coomer reside in Warsaw, KY with the youngest of their three sons, Troy, and the family dogs, Zac and Lucy. Troy is a student at Northern Kentucky University.  The Coomer’s have two other sons, Kyle and Chase.
